About Votur
The small team behind all those quizzes and everyday choices
Why Votur exists
It's easy to have opinions. Choosing? That's the hard part. Which haircut, which sofa, which name for the dog: everyone has moments where they just want to ask the people around them, which one?
People already do this constantly: two photos in a group chat, a screenshot poll, a help-me-decide story. Votur turns that moment into one simple link. You make a Duo, send it anywhere, and everyone votes in one tap, no app or account needed.
And Votur feeds your curiosity. Hundreds of quizzes, each on its own spot on the globe: countries, capitals, nature, science, art. Ten questions, an explanation after every answer, and at the end you see how you did against the rest of the world.
What we believe
- Kind by design. There are no comments, no direct messages, no downvotes and no reply threads on Votur, structurally. The only thing anyone can do with your question is answer it. All the fun, none of the mean.
- Your votes are yours. Results are only ever counts and percentages. Which option any individual picked is never shown to anyone, not even the creator.
- Privacy first. Our servers run in the EU. We show no banner ads, never sell personal data, never track you across other apps and never use your content to train AI models. The details are in our Privacy Policy, written to be read.
- Honest answers. No engagement tricks, no rage bait. In the Discover feed you vote first and see the results after, the way an honest question deserves.
Who we are
Votur is built and run by its two founders in the Netherlands, a small hands-on team that designs the cards, writes and checks the quizzes, answers the support email and reviews the moderation queue personally.
Where we are
Votur is live worldwide: the apps are in the App Store and Google Play in eight languages, and everything also works right here in the browser: play a quiz, spin the globe, make your own quiz or put one on your own site. Journalists find the story, facts and images on our press page.
