Shibuya Crossing is world-famous for its incredible 'scramble' system, where all vehicle traffic stops to let hundreds of pedestrians cross in all directions at once. At peak times, up to 3,000 people cross during a single green light. Right outside the station is also the beloved bronze statue of Hachiko, the loyal dog who waited there daily for his owner.
