Completed in 1938, the Fiat Tagliero Building is a stunning Futurist service station designed by Giuseppe Pettazzi. Its bold design features 30-meter concrete wings that resemble a military aeroplane. Legend has it that the architect held a revolver to the builder's head to force him to remove the temporary supports, proving the cantilevered wings could stand on their own.
