Utagawa Hiroshige created the masterpiece series 'One Hundred Famous Views of Edo' between 1856 and 1858. His innovative compositions and beautiful use of Prussian blue deeply influenced European Impressionist artists. In fact, Vincent van Gogh was such a huge fan that he painted his own oil copies of two prints from this very collection.
