The Joggins Fossil Cliffs are a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for containing the world's most complete fossil record of the Carboniferous 'Coal Age' from 300 million years ago. Constant coastal erosion by the massive tides of the Bay of Fundy naturally unearths new fossils daily.
