Souq Al-Mubarakiya is one of the oldest markets in Kuwait, established before the discovery of oil. It is the perfect place to experience traditional trading, buy dates, and taste local street food. It famously survived damage during the 1990 invasion and was carefully restored to its classic look.

Reaching a height of 412 meters, the Al Hamra Tower is an engineering marvel. Its asymmetrical design looks like a folded paper scroll, which helps reduce solar heat on the south-facing side. It is recognized globally as the tallest skyscraper made of carved concrete.

Construction of the tower began before the Iraqi invasion of 1990 but was halted during the conflict. When the country was liberated, the structure was completed and renamed to mark the historic event. Sadu House is a historic building dedicated to the preservation of Al-Sadu, the traditional Bedouin weaving style. This craft uses sheep wool and camel hair to create geometric patterns of red, black, and white. The house itself is a beautiful example of early 20th-century Kuwaiti architecture.

Located on the waterfront, the Scientific Center features a world-class aquarium containing a variety of marine life from the Arabian Gulf.
